Brighton Bakes
“Jessica’s creations are delectably inventive and deliciously tasty… once you’ve tasted them, we can guarantee you’ll be a devotee” OK Magazine
Launched 15 years ago, Brighton Bakes is Jessica’s bespoke catering service, choc full of urban chic and old-fashioned flavours. From relaxed grazing boards to intricate canapes, themed dessert tables, or a vegan, gluten-free dinner party, let her create the culinary delights you imagine. Each of Jessica’s clients receives a personalised menu and quote tailored to their exact requirements.
Jessica’s background is in food writing (the Guardian called her cookbook “a luscious compendium inspired by the bustling city of Brighton”), food styling (she was responsible for the food in all the Steamer Trading catalogues), and she is the recommended caterer for a number of wedding and hospitality venues across Brighton.
Jessica has been personal chef to rock n roll royalty, and has also demonstrated at food festivals up and down the country.
“I’m lucky to work with some fantastic local suppliers, which means that my dishes are always evolving and changing. Local and seasonal have become the mantra for all foodies, but I’m lucky enough to know the people who look after the hens who lay my eggs, the fisherman who land the fish, the dairy who supplies my cheeses, and the butcher who supplies my meat.”

“I specialise in the relaxed, the quirky, and the affordable – most of my menus are between £20 and £30 per head”.
